Mouton Rothschild

2001

Château Mouton Rothschild is the perfect alliance between tradition and innovation. Acquired in 1853 by Baron Nathaniel de Rothschild, this Pauillac estate has become an emblematic symbol of the great wines of Bordeaux. Under the visionary leadership of Baron Philippe de Rothschild since 1922, the château initiated full bottling on site and transformed each label into a work of art. Since 1945, renowned artists such as Dalí, Chagall and Warhol have contributed to the famous “Art and Etiquette” collection.

This vintage is styled by the famous and fascinating image poet: Robert “Bob” Wilson. It features the owner at the time, Philippine de Rotschild, against a colorful background where the green of the vines and the gold of the sun match the ranges of this wine, from light red to deep purple.
